This is what they looked like 28 years ago. Wow! They've improved with age. Amber hasn't done so badly herself.

Happy Birthday To My Wonderful Sons!!
I just had to post this one. They're still in diapers.
It was so much fun having twins.
I used to call them cowboys. I guess I can call them
California Highway Patrolmen now!

Never Ending Work...

Well, the front yard is fairly well done...so of course I need to start another project. Can't be without some kind of work, right?! Well, I've decided to add a huge garage with a little extra living space....you know....a living room, a couple of bedrooms, a bathroom and a nice food storage room for all those veggies. In addition, I'm making a winding little road to go into the garage from the rear of my home. Well....here's the beginnings of it all....(see pics below).
Here's a view of the upcoming road. Next you'll see the beginnings of the new garage!
We got gramma's tractor from Uncle Ty and Aunt Sandy and naturally Wayne put this humongus (however you spell it) umbrella over it since it's been so dang hot here! It's quite a blessing just watching Wayne and his very "unique" ways! :)
Okay, there's Herman on the right. He and Mario dug the footing out for the garage. Next will be Wayne jackhammering out the cement he's standing on!!! Ugh!

Wow.....that's hard work!!!

First Harvest of the Year!
Yep....I can't believe it. This was my first harvest this year. I even grew potatoes....wow. And the green beans were the absolute best. Yum, yum. Now if my children were closer, I'd be shipping the veggies over to them!

My Garden Is Growing....Yeah!!!!
Slow but sure..that's been the progress on getting my garden area ready. I had "Wayno" build three raised beds out of block and top them with brick. I planted the tomatoes and green beans first, but the thing that grew fastest (at least at first) was the old potatoes I had in my closet....you know the kind....with all the roots sticking out of them?!
